Gerard Houllier today called upon supporters to trust him with his transfer dealings.

Supporters were stunned to hear today that the club won't be signing Nicolas Anelka, which surely shouldn't come as much a surprise to Kop Talk readers, but because of those concerns, the boss is asking us all to keep with him.

"We are looking and we will find the right player. You can trust me on this," said the boss.
