Defender believes stadium move will be right one

Liverpool defender Vegard Heggem believes that a move to a new stadium can only benefit the club.

Speaking on his personal website, Vedgy says: "I don't believe the club will lose its heritage or history if it moves to a new site.

"I am sure the majority of supporters will consider this as exciting period for Liverpool.

"There have been many great times in the present Anfield stadium,and it goes without saying that there will be many more in the new one."
