Duo miss out on Euro Championships

Liverpool duo Chris Kirkland and Stephen Wright will play no part in the Under-21 European Championships as they have failed to recover from their injuries in time.

Kirkland has a back injury while Wright sustained an ankle injury while playing for the reserves recently.
